CCS heat recovery in VAC systems with hydronic setup, corresponding controls and valve sizing and impact on pump power consumption

June 24, 2020

Combined Circulation System (CCS) heat recovery solutions are an interesting approach to recover heat in today's VAC systems. They are typically used, when air streams (ODA -> SUP and ETA -> EHA) have to be fully separated or when the respective air handling units are located in different parts of the building.

In this webinar we will focus on:

  • state-of-the-art hydronic setup for CCS (in comparison to the traditional setup)
  • control approach for CCS heat recovery as part of the overall air handling unit (AHU) temperature control
  • correct sizing of control valve for CCS
  • energy efficiency impact of state-of-the-art hydronic setup
